Treecreeper

The slender billed Treecreeper searches for it’s insect prey by shuffling up the trunks and branches of trees like a Mouse, clinging to the bark with it’s strong toes and propped up on it’s stiff tail. Usually it spirals up one tree then flies down and lands near the bottom of another to start it’s search again. This habit makes it easy to identify even in silhouette.
